Guest EvilGazebo Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 Anyone got this working? It could easily just be me getting the settings wrong, but I've checked them a few times and it was working fine on my old 1.7 Vanilla ROM. I get a "-1001 Received authentication challenge is null" error. I'm not getting far with the native Exchange support either. My worry is that it's something fundmental and much as I love 2.1 it's not much use to me without Exchange support. Please god don't make me get my crappy old BlackBerry out of the drawer :(

Guest EvilGazebo Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 Which is the exact RoadSync version u use? sorry, too busy flashing ROMs. It's 2.0001 (298). But at one stage I upgraded to the latest and that made no difference. It's not a showstopper because I've downloaded the TouchDown trial and that works so worst comes to worst I'll buy that. But I prefer the look and feel of RoadSync (and it's another $20). Touchdown working has reassured me that it's a Roadsync problem and not me getting the settings wrong (or an unfortunate coincindentally timed change of config/code on my work Exchange server).

This RoadSync build works perfectly for me with all the diferent ROMS (stock, MCR, Vanilla). Of course it means nothing, there are millions of possible circumstances that occur at your server and does not occur at our one.

Yeah, my working assumption is that it something very specific to my work Exchange Server. But there is no way I'm giving up Voice Search, Google Nav and Live Wallpapers (and much better battery life it seems) just to get work email :(

I guess it's either the userid or password which gives the error. Verify (re-enter) both I'd say.
