Guest zigzack Posted May 29, 2010 Report Posted May 29, 2010 (edited) Hey I haven't been able to get a USB data connection since my usb port broke and then got fixed. I assumed this was because of physical damage to a processor or something but is it possible it's firmware related? And if so would reflashing the December update (or 2.1) fix this? I've happily been using my phone without connecting to my computer, but now with 2.1 coming out I need it back (to reinstall Amon RA recovery). I obviously don't want to go ahead and try because I wouldn't be able to then go back to a MCR (I think). Thanks for the help Edited May 30, 2010 by zigzack
Guest zigzack Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 Perhaps a better question someone could help with, Is there a way to install a CRI without connecting to a computer ie. flashing it like ROMs?

Guest zigzack Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Ok, I've updated to the official 2.1 ROM. Still no usb connection, looks like it is physical damage to the phone. Update went well though so have a working phone with 2.1, just looks like I'm stuck with it now, no chance for custom ROMs. Oh well... Also, where are the 2.1 apps? don't come up in Market.
