Mapping dropbox as a folder

Hey having been using dropbox for quite some time, and I if find its implementation on the android platform a bit limiting. So, i was wondering, has anyone writting an app which allows you to link the dropbox folder as a virtual folder in the android file system? I could see great potential in such an app as having 8gb or more of data in the cloud accessible as a virtual SD card.

So please enlighten me :( Is such a thing possible, has it been done or have i found myself a little hobby project for the summer holidays? :(

Good idea, can it be done? would defiantly be a bonus to the desire with its limited storage.
