Guest Mysterious Stranger Posted May 30, 2010 Report Posted May 30, 2010 As topic, so it will force to use just 3g network instead of gsm, thanks Can't remember the exact code but there is an 8 digit service number you can type in that does it - the number merely relates to the menu options you would have gone through in the GUI to do the same thing..... I had to lock it to GSM to get a signal first off after entering the Cingular unlock code - my advice is find a site that sells the unlocking code and read their instructions. M.S

M.S The 8 digits only give 3 options 1. Auto mode 2. Gsm mode 3. Wcdma mode There isn't any option to lock to 3g mode
Guest Mysterious Stranger Posted June 29, 2010 Report Posted June 29, 2010 The 8 digits only give 3 options 1. Auto mode 2. Gsm mode 3. Wcdma mode There isn't any option to lock to 3g mode WCDMA = 3G So enabling WCDMA = locking to 3G, auto mode switches between the two. M.S
Guest Vijji Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 The Code is *#2263# WCDMA is 3G. Select WCDMA only.
