2.1 tray icons

Hi,

Does anyone know how to change the default apps for the bottom icons on the 2.1 MCR?

(The four at the bottom of the home screen with contacts, apps, messaging, zoom out)

I'm trying to figure out how to get the messaging one to open chompsms.

Ah I managed to do this with launcherpro, but the default/mcr 2.1 launcher doesn't seem to support changing the default apps for these buttons.
