VPN over 3g on t-mobile pulse?

Apologies if this is a little off topic, does anyone know if its possible to set up a VPN so I can use my Pulse to access my skype account? Currently T-mobile blocks it so I have to pay for their extortionate intl call charges. Is there a VPN provider I can use with android? Would it work? I know it'd probably break my contract terms with T-Mob but I've got no prob with that!
