Guest MrTofu Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Hello. I've been using r6.1 2.1 for a while now and i wanted to update to the official release, but i've been having major setbacks: 1. I get an "update failed" everytime. Actually, i tried other dload from other version and these don't work either. 2. I tried using fastboot but when i get to the flash system image i get an error "File too large" or something like that. Is there any workaround to any of these options? U8220-6 Thanks in advance.

Use this update. I also have an U8220-6 and this was the only one that did the firmware update. Link Edited May 31, 2010 by makmondeja

Yep, that's what I did. I updated with that one and then installed the RBM rooted one and has been working for two days now without issues (no reboots no FCs).
