Orientation sensors problem

Hi everyone.

I have a problem with the compass and accelerometer.

First, my compass don't seems to be too accurate at all (if I play a compass app, it tremble a lot).

Second, the sensor seems turn off after a while the mobile is on (The screen doesn't turn with mobile inclination) and the only way I know to fix that is restart the mobile.

Has anyone notice these issues?

I have 2.000.16EMEA_GEN1.

try to calibrate the sensor moving the telephone following an "8" trajectory for 30 seconds. i don't know if i was clear explaining to you.

Thanks andrew2511, it seems this improves a little the compass accuracy (not at all, it still trembles a bit), but not the desactivation sensors problem.

mmmmmh i used that rom and sometimes it happened to me too that the sensor freeze. but i had that rom for very short time... i don't know how to resolve

if you install an eclair room?

Hi,

Currently using LCR 1.8, and having this problem.

Also before 1.8, had the same problem.

While using keyb, screen NEVER rotate.

Rotation only happens when using Barcode Scanner, and i presume it does this by default, and not by "motion"
