Guest 1458 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 Today, when I unplugged the charger, the charger dragged out the whole USB-port so there is a just a hole :( T-Mobile said that the whole panel inside the phone need to be changed, but the warranty is not valid in this case, altough it was not my fault. It means that i have to pay about 150£. Do you know any way how to charge the battery? Thanks for your help :(
Guest bounty123 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 This just doesn't sound right. I mean how can you just pull out the USB if it's not faulty? They should cover this with warranty.
Guest alpha232 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 There's been various threads about this, if the phone is less than 6 months old and you're in the UK it's up to the shop you bought it from to prove that it was you who broke it, and not an inherent fault. Have a search back a few pages there was a fairly long thread about a guy who got it replaced by t-mobile

There have been many other complaints about this happening so evidence my friend is on your side. Consumer law is not based on what you think or what the shop thinks, but what a judge would reasonably expect in a court of law. If they refuse to replace it or at least fix it, go to trading standards or citizens advice with evidence from these threads etc about this happening to other peoples phones and take it from there.
Guest 1458 Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 i think it is the best to buy an external charger that only charge the battery, it is $15
Guest Ashbeard Posted May 31, 2010 Report Posted May 31, 2010 i think it is the best to buy an external charger that only charge the battery, it is $15 Where would I get one of these? I have looked everywhere for one for the Pulse but couldn't find one. I have the problem that my USB port is fried and won't charge.
