That looks really good :(, not too keen on the blurred android at the bottom, I think it would look better if it moved or just glowed?

Oh, I just saved it as a gif in photoshop.

Save For Web>Gif

Getting all the frames to save on their own was the hard part!

Copy it to the root of the SD, then follow out the ADB commands.

hey there, the screen looks great!

BUT i followed your instructions and installed the screen, and after rebooting it shows itself and than goes into a bootloop.

i sorted that one out, and now i'm getting acore fc-s and a sluggish system... anyone with the same problem? any ideas what went wrong?

thanks in advance

I agree with everyone else, this is just plain gorgeous! Perhaps a version that says u8220 might be in it's place though, considering were quite a few who don't have the t-mobile version :(.

The boot animation isn't 20mb large :(

rebooted, same again

except i noticed that it takes a lot longer to boot, and it shows the lockscreen as well for a few seconds

if i unlock it quickly it goes to my homescreen, i get fcs for my widgets and it hangs with "system not responding" error. i hit wait, and after a few minutes it sorts itself out.

if i dont unlock is quickly it just goes back to your beautifull bootscreen :(

is this the weirdest error or what? :(

Looks great :(

I had a look at the original bootanimation.zip, and it seems that it's incredibly wasteful.

I removed a load of the apparently unnecessary frames and cut the size from 260Kb down to 37Kb. It seems to work pretty much the same as the original version (attached, use at own risk etc blah blah)

I know it's only 220Kb saved, but it's 86% and if there's anything else like that knocking around we could make some serious space savings. Might be worth putting a cut down version like this in the baked ROMs if it works okay for everyone.

Edit: Just to be clear, the attached file is a cut down version of the ORIGINAL t-mobile boot animation. It's not Rem1x's nice new one.

Hey guys, I like what Rem1x did with the startup screen but I was thinking in a different direction. I don't really like the t-mo pink so I started thinking about re-branding (or de-branding :() the whole phone with colors and forms that really suit the Pulse. So I started with this. Tell me what you think about the idea, and if anybody would like to spend some spare time in modifying the default Pulse theme or even creating a completely new one. Here's my proposal for the boot screen (not animated yet, but if there is interest it's not a problem for me to make animated version)

P.S.

Can someone tell me if there are some limitations in making the boot screen.

That's exactly the design what I had in mind. I'll be making something like this next
