My phone came from T-mobile, I have a H-boot of 0.75 and have rooted using the R1 method but it will not allow me to run the offical T-mobile RUU.exe. I have tried extracting the rom.zip and flashing via recovery but it fails to open the .zip saying it is bad??

I have a working goldcard and can flash any other rom except for the offical branded one.

Someone please help

You sure you've got HBOOT 0.75 at present? Sounds like you're on 0.80. Which ROM are you using?

Hello

You need to put the zip file onto your sdcard and call it PB99IMG.zip and boot your phone into the bootloader :(

Out of curiosity, what is the significance of the file name PB99IMG.zip? (I know that is what the Bootloader tries to load automatically) But is there any reason that HTC have used that filename?
