Youtube widget in 1.21.405.2 ROM (official)

Hey,

I flashed the unmodified 1.21.405.2 ROM earlier, with the Youtube 1.6.20 (E) app.

I've noticed that the widget for this app doesn't seem to work, though. When you're logged in to your youtube account, instead of showing the most watched videos on the left side of the widget, it just reads 'loading'.

I had the same issue when I installed the 1.6.19 version that was ripped from the Evo 4G.

Is there any way of fixing it? I've searched and found a few people experiencing the same issue in both versions, but haven't seen a solution yet. Any of you clever-clogs modders found a way to make it work?

So does the silence mean that everybody else's widget is working fine or that everybody else's widget is broken too and nobody knows how to fix it? :(

just a quicky, can u plz point me in the right direction to get the upgrade to 1.21.405.2.

I just fashed it with Pauls method but would like to up grade to the lastest firmware.

Just open the you-tube app directly, that seems to allow the widget to load - it's showing me 'recommended' videos now, whereas just after flashing it was complaining that ti couldn't connect.
