Guest Csöpi Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 I made this topic to avoid the mass of the newly created topics. We can now have a centralized place where everyone can look for help, and dont need to open up a new topic to his problem for examples with an icon. I will start first. I have the Pulse 2.1: Vanilla ROM - RMB/Switz/T-Mob/Sunrise 2.1 installed. I have removed some apks from /system/app to get more free space. How can i move an aplication to this folder from /data/app so that is shows up in the programs? How many free space needs the system on the /system partition to work correctly. I mean could i just fill it up with apps from /data so i can install more stuff? And the last one: I somehow lost su right on the device and dont know how. I reinstalled it yesterday via nandroid and since then no su rights for me.

The best way is to use an A2SD-ROM but you can simply copy the apps e.g. with "root-explorer" (You need root-rights). 3. Try to install "super-boot" from sticky again.

If you search the forums you will find a thread about losing root after a nand restore, one of the suggestions in there worked for me a short while back

If you have A2SD ROM and yu installed launcher pro from the market then it is on your SD card...go to data/app....I don't know about adb commands because I'm using RootExplorer for that kind of operations :(, so just delete from there and paste LauncherPro.apk and install it from the app folder
