WPA2 Enterprise with 2.1

Anyone else got a WPA2 Enterprise wi-fi connection working with this? It causes a force close on mine using stock Hungary 2.1 release. WPA2 works fine, its just WPA enterprise (the one that was missing from 1.5) that doesn't work. It asked for a password to protect the credentials, then crashes. Tried a re-boot, asked for the password just entered, and again crashes.

I wonder if its just my phone, or Huawei forgot to test this.

Did you applied the Hungarian UPDATA-fix?

The extra one from the "CUSTOMIZED_HU" directory?, yes that was applied.

Ok, the solution:

http://android.modaco.com/content-page/298...-pulse/page/20/

I changed the next line:

key_mgmt=NONE

to

key_mgmt=WPA-EAP

Now I can connect to wifi and the internet is working :(

Hi,

I checked the /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf file and I found the next:

network={

ssid="network name"

key_mgmt=NONE

auth_alg=OPEN SHARED

wep_key0="password"

priority=1

}

I checked this file structure in the internet

"network={

ssid="home"

scan_ssid=1

key_mgmt=WPA-PSK

psk="very secret passphrase"

I think the problem is in the key_mgmt line.

This will be right?

In theory altering the file shouldn't be needed , as all those options are now exposed in the dialog for wireless, that was a 2.1 fix. I've imported the client and root certs and filled it all in, but it still force closes.

Does the UPDATA fix alter the wireless settings?

I can't connect to an older linksys router/gateway secured with WPA-PSK. Worked fin on 1.5 but doesn't on 2.1.
