Guest carlx Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Same here no problem, only thing is you'll have to enter the APN for 3.
Guest skandigraun Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Hi, I have just purchased a turbosim for my Pulse with Android 2.1. Everything is perfect, except one thing: 2 hotkeys at the bottom left of the screen are 'exchanged'. I mean that if i touch the favorite contacts button, the application menu comes, and if i touch the application menu hotkey i got the list of my (favorite) contacts. It is a bit wierd, since if i check it without turbosim, everything is fine. Did anyone experience the same? Thanks in advance for the answer.
Guest Gurdjieff Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 I have bought Pulse with Turbo sim, a couple of months ago, my procedure when it boots up: It turns on roaming, i have to turn on airplane, then turn of and roaming got turned off too. So i have read in this topic that turbo sim didn't change anything, then this is normal or what?
Guest skandigraun Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 (edited) Well, I did not experience any problem with roaming nor with the connection to the new network, everything was a smooth sail, my only issue is with the menu. I have just checked it in airplane mode (+reset), but still the same :) Edit: I have included az image also, to make my problem more clearer (sorry for my english): if I press the button1, i get the menu of button2, and vica versa: if i touch button2, i get the menu of button1. (Of course there are more buttons/icons as well, but i have experienced this problem only with these two icons specifically yet). Also, i did not mention, but I have the official Android 2.1 update without modifications. Edited June 15, 2010 by skandigraun

Or just install a homescreen replacement (ADW, LauncherPro) Sorry I couldn't help more...
Guest skandigraun Posted June 15, 2010 Report Posted June 15, 2010 Thank You for your kind reply. Meanwhile i started to reinstall the update on the phone, and it seems now it works fine. Well, I still don't get it completely (since with the original t-mobile card it worked withut a problem, it only occured with turbosim woth the vodafone card), but anyway, it seems to be solved. Thx again for your efforts.

It will be nice to get somewhere a t-mo sim and try with it.
Guest skandigraun Posted June 20, 2010 Report Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) What happens if you try to set your (desired) default provider in Settings/Wireless & networks/Mobile networks/Network operators menu? (Instead of using the 'Select automatically' option) Or alternatively if there is there is a selected default provider, You may try the automatic option also. Just an idea.
