Where are my Photos stored?

Hi all - just a quick daft question.....

for the first time yesterday went to a steam rally and took some photos......

Thinking I would back them up onto my computer I mounted the phone via the USB cable.... but the only thing I can see is the 16G SD Card! and my photos dont seem to be stored there

Tool the Liquid off the computer and used Astro to look at the main drive - but could not find the Photos there

:( My question is two fold......... :(

....... How do I find my photos that I have taken

...... Secondly how can I make sure that all photos I take in the future default to my SD Card

I have looked in the camera app but cant find any way to direct to photos to the Sd card

Looked in Settings thinking there must be a way there but cant find anything

Can anyone help - I can view the photos on the default carousel app so they are there (somewhere)

Know this is not a very technical question but I am stuck ....... Any help apprectiated

They should be on your sdcard in /DCIM/Camera

Got them thanks

and they were already on the SD card!
