3G not working (Radio Issues)

Hi:

I'm having issues with my 3G radio in the U8220-6.

In both Android 1.5 and Android 2.1 I can't get the 3G to work. I don't have the 2G only ticket checked and also I've checked that it's not a SIM problem, because in another 3G phone, it connects to the 3G network without issues.

Can someone tell me of an app or utility that let me know about the 3G radio, stats, logs, if it's working, etc..

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe how to use logcat -b radio??

Anyone can tell me what does boot.img do?? Can I use a 1.5 boot.img in a 2.1 ROM?? I think boot.img has to do with phone firmware?? Am I correct??

check if your APNs are configured correctly

They are, the problem it's not just Internet browsing. In phone status I only get in Network Type EDGE. It used to be UMTS, it's not APN, but thanks for the reply.
