Guest stuliv12 Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Hi I realise the Bricking issue has been resolved, i just thought id mention i received my Desire back from HTC fully fixed. I noticed the HBOOT was now 0.80 from its original 0.75. Kudos to them for flashing the device and getting it back to me in 8 days, i sent it just before the fix was released. stuliv12

Guest AsayWat Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Either that or the board that it was replaced with already had .80 installed.....
Guest EmDzej Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Either that or the board that it was replaced with already had .80 installed..... I think that they replaced mobo - if they do things like Sony-Ericsson they usually do not waste time resolving such cases...
Guest Need_A_Username Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 I think that they replaced mobo - if they do things like Sony-Ericsson they usually do not waste time resolving such cases... Or maybe they follow modaco closely, saw the fix topic and applied it? :( :(
Guest xTc is loVe Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 Or maybe they follow modaco closely, saw the fix topic and applied it? :( :( # They would be stupid if the dont do so ;-)
Guest Namtaffy Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 # They would be stupid if the dont do so ;-) Somehow I think they would have been able to fix it (the usb issue) in about 5 seconds if they wanted to, all by themselves! Giving that they made the device and wrote the code!

If they didn't know about the problem when they shipped it, they would be as clueless as us until they talked to their programming team (who could also have been baffled).

Guest Namtaffy Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 (edited) until they talked to their programming team (who could also have been baffled). possible, but highly unlikely! IMHO :( main thing is "we" fixed "our" mistake Edited June 2, 2010 by Namtaffy
Guest Normola Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I'd just like to take this moment to welcome all the HTC devs who are reading this thread. Hi :(
