I honestly dunno, so be gentle with your answer if im dead wrong :(
Guest Frankish Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 We only have write access to system from within recovery don't we? So that wouldn't really work. Might let me view the files lol.

Try looking for com.wsandroid.apk cant you just mount the system using estrongs and delete it from that partition? I honestly dunno, so be gentle with your answer if im dead wrong :( No, you don't have write permissions to /system while booted up, only in recovery.
Guest sucramco Posted June 1, 2010 Report Posted June 1, 2010 I removed it tonight. Firstly I forced closed it so it would not work. Then by mistake I noticed it listed my AppBrain app, I selected it, one of the options was uninstall or it could have been remove. So I did. There you go nice and easy, you may also need an apk manager installed previously though as possibly appbrain uses it to install or uninstall apps.
