Lastfm app only works in the uk?

What happened to the lastfm official app? i know there is one, i downloaded an apk on a site, but its not on the market , why is that? is it only for the uk?

is isnt 100 % clear to me, i know last fm is now paid , but the scrobbler should be free!! , in the forums people said is available only in a few countries , others said they find it in they market after they paid for a subscription =/
