Guest -Wii- Posted June 2, 2010 Report Posted June 2, 2010 I am running the Hungarian 2.1 I updated the big file, tried to update the second one by putting it in a "dload" folder on the sd but it failed Nevermind, Anyway I want to go onto Paul's Modded rom now so I start reading through his specification Says I need a customer recovery image, Ok, I know what one of them is so I read that thread. It says I need to install quick boot to get into recovery mode, But I need root access for that, I don't have root access anymore How do I get root now? totally confused any help appreciated.

You don't need root access so you can Install AmonRa recovery image...just do it as it says on that post

See the wiki on how to flash it from fastboot mode. 2/ If you still want root you have to download the .zip from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=682828 and then flash it in recovery mode.
