Cannot update....getting error message?

Hello,

Yesterday i rooted my T-Mobile phone and everything went well, today i found there is an update available for my phone 1.21.405.2.

I have downloaded the update a few times and when i select to install it get this error message...."an error occurred whilesaving your data to you sd card. the backup cannot be completed"

The phone then reboots and it looks like it is starting to update but then gets the red question mark and then boots up normally again.

I have tried 2 memory cards and i still get this message.

Anybody help me out please?

simple - don't try to flash official OTA updates to a rooted phone running a custom rom

[edit] isn't the modaco custom rom based on the 1.21 series anyway?

Hi,

I have just moved from a Windows phone to Android so i am a bit unsure of some things.

I have only rooted my phone and not flashed any custom roms yet......my phone should only be unbranded then....should it not?
