I have tried different resolutions but no luck. Only live wallpepers are ok. Any ideas? Edited June 3, 2010 by pitulica
Guest David Roper Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 try a wallpaper app in the market. then, place your wallpaper files in its download file and apply from inside the app. works for me :(
Guest urom Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 hello, same for me. I am using a wallpaper app ("background") but wallpapers a allways zoomed in. So what can we do? Does 2.1 handle wallpapers in a different way than 1.5? regards Uli

The T-mobile's official ROM's are using nine screen's (greed's), which he treated them as one large desktop screen at size for example of 1080 x 720 pixels. So if you are trying to put a downloaded wallpaper from basic Vanilla Android Home screen (which have only 3 screens with size of for example 480x320 pixels) he will naturally resize it (zoom and stretch) to fit the given T-Mobile home screen. That's why your wallpapers are stretched and zoomed. You can fix that if you take the wallpaper you wish (assume it is not T-mobile official wallpaper) and resize it in some program like Photoshop to fit the T-Mobile Screen size (you need to check the T-Mobile official size...pixels) That's for 2.1 update...the 1.5 has only 6 screens I think...thought I never use T-Mobile home screen, the easiest way is to install home replacement app like ADW or LauncherPro and use it as default and there the wallpapers are with good resolution Cheers Edited June 3, 2010 by goce.nakov
Guest Bice Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I had the same issue, but I solved it, by putting strips to the sides of the picture. The best way to get an "unzoomed" picture, to create a 3000x3000, or 4000x4000 sized white picture, and put yours on the white's center. Save the image, and you will gent az "unzoomed" pictor for your main desktop. :(
Guest nCounTr Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 Hi all, i believe that this is my first post. I am following this forum especially for the T-Mobile Pulse phone and i learned a lot from u guys and I'm grateful for that. So here's a little post to help u with the wallpapers. I am using 640x960 and when I select it for a wallpaper I take the pink border/yellow border in 3DGallery and snap it to the end of the screen. In that way i have full NO ZOOMED wallpaper. Oh and i forgot you must put your picture in the center of that 640x960 Picture.
