Guest brack Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I have Battery widget since 1.5 but I noticed that on 2.1 it shows different from other software percentage. If the battery is full or device was recently restarted the percentage displayed by battery widget is the same as in battery information or other applications, but after long time of work without restarts and with the battery lover than 50% the widget lies and shows e.g. 45% when there is 41% and/or 25% when there is 18% in reality. Device has died in my heands when the widget showed 12% So, there is no use of this widget anymore. Can anyone recommend an alternative?
Guest ZsZso Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I'm using Battery Indicator. It's not really a widget but a "bonus" icon on the notification bar. So far so good.
Guest eckengucker1 Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 SwitchPro has included a battery widget too
Guest Jankov Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 Try vizBattery, i was using that on 1.5 and it was accurate. Havent't try it on 2.1 yet but i'm sure it's as accurate as on the 1.5
Guest kamikase Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 using BatteryLife by curvefish, looks nice and simple - all i need :( but i have no looked of it displays the percentage correctly all the time - right now its correct k
Guest speedme Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I am using Battery Indicator Pro, which is always accurate. Not so long ago it went to 1% battery remaining and then it turned the phone off. That's why I know it's accurate :(
Guest Fusion0306 Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 (edited) You can't go wrong with Battery Indicator :( Edited June 3, 2010 by Fusion0306
Guest chall32 Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 +1 for Battery Indicator. Top banana. Requested it to be added to zerosignull's Oscillation ROM here - Chris
Guest bounty123 Posted June 3, 2010 Report Posted June 3, 2010 I recommend you not to use any of them - they will just drain your battery faster and eat precious memory :( I prefer quick-checking the built-in indicator and if seldom I want exact numbers, I click on quick settings or mini info on my home screen.
Guest brack Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 ok, got vizBattery work good so far. Thank you all!
