How to solve set up wizard problem on Huawei U8230?

Hi guys. I have one question, how to solve set up wizard problem on Huawei U8230? I can't pass set up wizard.

I believe the solution is to wipe your phone before installing the Modified rom (the one you install AFTER you install the HU roms)

Certainly you should not wipe after you've installed a custom ROM that has installed anything into /data/ otherwise it will be wiped out.

That's how I did it - unfortunately, that's the only way I could get it to install correctly. I believe I did move all /data/ stuff to my SD card with the relevant option in recovery first, before wiping. However, I'm not claiming to be an expert on this, so perhaps I've made a mistake - only giving you my £0.02

You could only get the ROM to install if you wiped afterwards rather than before?

I was going to ask which ROM it was you were trying, but I've just followed the link to the video, and see it's the swiss sunrise one.

Have you seen if you get the issue with Paul's ROM?

Have you tried only wiping before, and not wiping after you installed?

If you're installing a custom kitchen one make sure and include the normal email client as well as the gmail client otherwise setup won't get past that stage.

I second that, I made the same mistake. Well actually this should be mentioned on the ROM's page at theemail section, or rather it shouldn't even be an option to remove it, since it renders the ROM unusable.
