Non-rooted desire. Edit startup options

Can you edit the start up options so You can have control what starts.

sick of closing down google talk and other stuff thats not needed.

Is it possible on a non-rooted phone?

Utter pap, sorry mate. i use that system panel now and my battery seems much better when i have control whats running. it just common sense. Google and others just want as many apps open so more data is accessible ?? simples!

No, it's not "utter pap". I've worked with both Windows and Linux systems and I know how they both handle processes. I had my phone off charge for 12 hours last night with no task killers and the battery went down only 10%... Killing the process will only force it to reopen when it's designed to.

How do you explain that?

Btw, did you read what the dev of System Panel wrote in the help screen about task management ? "You should only 'End' applications if you see one which is not working properly". But it's your phone, so you do whatever you want :(

To answer your initial question, you can try Startup Cleaner, I haven't tried it but according to its description, I think it'll suit your needs.
