I've been using juice defender since it came out on both 1.6 and 2.1 and have only had problems with it once which was fixed when i did a wipe, Perhaps it because of the custom rom? and stupid suggestion, but make sure it's enabled. It's disabled by default.
Guest MrVanes Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 Thx for the tip :( It's enabled. I have a very simple test setup: enable APN for 3 minutes every hour and a push imap mail account. When I send mail to the account it's always received immediately. So APN is obviously not switched off :( Maybe I should file a bug against LCR 1.6 if the vanilla Eclair ROM works? btw: did you check that it disables APN for you with the widget? The widget also say ON all the time, even with the APN interval set. Disabling the APN by clicking the widget doesn't do anything as well...
Guest MrVanes Posted June 4, 2010 Report Posted June 4, 2010 I think I've found it... I have a combined APN for data and mms and Juice defender will only switch off the APN if I enable toggling of the mms APN.
