Firmware update help 1.21.405.2

Need the help of the experts please,

I have a HTC Desire, was lucky enough to get one of the 3 network ones that were debranded. I received an update message for OTA_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_1.15.405.4_release_P28tjyo7ovjwu8s0eu.zip, however whenever I try to upgrade It reboots onto the green icon then turns red and then reboots back to current firmware.

My device is rooted using Pauls process, however I completed a gold card to root as at time I was unaware I could just root due to being unbranded (new to android sorry), I have also downloaded a stock ROM RUU_Bravo_HTC_WWE_1.21.405.2_Radio_32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.02_2_release_126984_sign

d this goes through all steps but when reboots to start process it times out on waiting boot and says device may be unplugged.

Help appreciated here please>

it's mabey beacuse it rooted :)

i use the unroot guide and now it work :)
