Sorry about my english, I 've rooted my desire using r4Tiny core Linux cd. Although i don't know much about pc or phones, i found that guide pretty easy to use.

can anyone please tell me how to install DEFROST? Is there a chance of doing it by a similar way? If not, should i use Paul's guide? Thanks

Boot into recovery and flash the Defrost .ZIP file. If you can't work this out you might want to do some reading before you go any further and learn how custom ROMs work.
