Guest giabbe1 Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 Hey guys, I have tried some 2.1 roms in the last weeks (the ones leaked and also some developed from the official hungarian t-mobile). So far I think the fastest was shadow's one, even though I had lots of FCs with it. On the other side, Paul's rom is very stable but is not vanilla (I don't like t-mobile customizations..) and it's somewhat slower than others. However I haven't tried all of them and I wanted to ask you which one do you think is the fastest. I do not need to install tons of apps: I usually only install 4 or 5 and just need the basic functionalities of android. of course it has to be stable: don't want to deal with FC anymore.. tks in advance

Guest Azurren Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 I belive this is the current fastest 2.1 vanilla rom with all its features still intact: android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile-pulse-pulse-modaco-com/309811/pulse-2-1-oscillation-rom-r7/ No forecloses for me at but it has the same problem as all 2.1 roms (including the officail) which is rare freezes when using apps that use data and cpu in bursts (browser, market) sometimes it happens twice in one day or it won't happen ever.

Second that, I'm using it now and its fantastic. Not one problem that wasn't caused by me being daft yet :)

Guest le_lutin Posted June 7, 2010 Report Posted June 7, 2010 Well Im using Paul's r7 with light modifications buy me and it is rock solid and fast as can be when Dalvik Cashe is on class 2 SD :) I also have Paul's r7 and don't really find it fast. Perhaps the cache is the difference. What's the procedure to stick the cache on the sd card?
