Send 1 SMS...

Dunno if anyone else is having this issue but seems that people are receiving 2 of every SMS I send. Known issue or just me?

I get a few of these, sometimes it's down to chompSMS saying the message failed when I didn't so I re-send, however sometimes people just say I sent a message twice when I definitely didn't.

Seems to happen most often in lower signal areas.

I'm on T-Mobile w/ stock ROM.

I'm using the stock 1.21.405.2 WWE ROM with stock messaging app - just seems to be recently...ah well!

I'm having the same issue as well using handcent. Seems to be whenever the reception is low or flicking between my network and roaming.

Same here WRT 2 messages recieved - chompSMS will sometimes "hang" sending a message for ages.

Guessing it's a network thing as I don't use 3rd party messaging apps...annoying for the person receiving the message but better than no message at all!! :)

This seems to happen in the standard messaging app, chomp and handcent and it happens when you send a message and then your phone's connection changes (i.e. from H to 3G, or from E to G etc. etc.) and then the message gets sent twice.

As I live in quite a remote area and my signal at home changes from E to G a great deal quite a lot of my friends get 2 messages from me :)
