1 Pulse detected on Win 7 fine - the other not!

I have a Pulse 8220 and thought it was good so I got one for my mum too. The issue is that mine will install and show as connected in the dialup application however the other will not. Mine picks the drivers up from the PCSuite folder fine however manually adding drivers using my mums phone does not work. In device manager it only shows up as a storage device (which installs fine) and 4 x Android Mobile Adapter (which do not install). None of the other devices install as with my phone.

They are the same model with the same ROM (Pauls 2.1 Kitchen ROM) both on the same Win 7 laptop.

Any ideas?

Will this need to go back to T-Mobile and if so do I have to wait for the official UK 2.1 rom for warranty reasons?

Some different ROMs use different USB PIDs, thus require different drivers.

If the drivers you got with your phone don't work, there are different drivers on the forums to try.

Or you can just flash both phones in the exact same way.

Have you tried any other USB ports?

I know it makes you sound thick but maybe it'll help :)
