Update after rooting (0.8 method)

Hi,

I just got my HTC desire. It was in 0.8 version (not from carrier)

I rooted it with the good working method found on this site

Nom my HTC wants to do official update to 1.21.405.2

I just wanted to know if I can accept update or will I lose everything done (rooting etc)

I did search on the forum before, but I didn't find the right answer

Sorry if this question is too stupid but for once I'm a newbee (android system) so please be kind ^^

Yes with the HTC update, you will loose root
