Guest Genesis^ Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I would be grateful for any tips on lowering my battery temperature, which is causing my reboots :/

Guest ZeBadger Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 What makes you think it is the battery? :) People on this thread seem to think so.
Guest Speckles Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 You could leave the back off the phone and use a rubber band to keep it in, but to be honest, I don't think that is causing your reboots. What are you running? My phone has never rebooted :)
Guest Genesis^ Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 I am running a custom 2.1 But I think it is partly because of the heat of the battery and the firmware i am using. cause i is VERY hot just before it reboots... abnormal for any battery to be that hot. And i am liking 'move to a colder location' :)

Guest Speckles Posted June 8, 2010 Report Posted June 8, 2010 cause i is VERY hot just before it reboots... abnormal for any battery to be that hot.Indeed. So I'd say either your battery or phone is faulty. Mine gets warm whilst being charged, and very slightly warm if I have large current draw (eg. BT/Wifi/GPS all enabled and running some CPU hungry app), else it's room temperature.

If it did then taking the battery out, putting it back in again and continuing would just make it freeze again 100%. That is not the case here.
