superboot after upgrading 2.1 phone dead

Hi,

I had upgraded my Pulse to the official hungarian 2.1. I wanted to use tethering so I wanted to root my phone. Unfortunately I tried with superboot, and now the phone can not start.

It tries to boot but after the android text disappears a blank white cursor bliks up at the left top corner once and the screen remains blank.

I can fastboot but I can not do anything there.

What to do?

Re installing the Hungarian rom should fix this. It appears to boot the "Upgrade" before the OS boots.

If you want only root, no custom rom, then

- reflash with TMob stuff

- install Amon-Ra

- install su from recovery ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=682828 )

Didnt you reformat sd card or whatever?

When upgrading the Hungarian rom did you remember to unpack and copy the dload folder to your SD card?

Once you've fixed this... do not install Superboot 1.5 onto a 2.1 rom.

I reformatted the SD card

Put the dload dir on the card and now it works.

Thank you guys.
