Guest J273 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 Paul,Are you using the streak as a phone aswell or mainly tablet? Really tempted with one of these ,but id be using it as a phone mainly.
Guest Paul Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 I don't make many calls, but yeah, I'm using it as my main (only) device. P
Guest tudorw Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 me too, not a massive voice user but call quality as handset fine, size means a pretty good fit between mouth, ear and phone for my er, massive head speaker phone is okay so far on individual calls, it broke down a bit on a conference call, people had a little trouble hearing me, but it wasn't a big deal and TBH i've had pretty variable experiences on conference over my landline so I blame the conferencing system and three people talking at once... one thing to watch out for is the proximity sensor, as I started faffing around with apps during a call there was some confusion as the screen kept blacking out, once I figured my thumb was on the sensor then everything got a lot easier :)
Guest Ash_786 Posted June 9, 2010 Report Posted June 9, 2010 (edited) The main issue as such for using for calls is being able to take it in / out of your pocket relatively fast. There is No carrying case at the moment and it only has the included cover pouch which isn't ideal. You need to look at your uses as this phone is definitely for people that use the phone as a tablet more than a phone. Edited June 9, 2010 by Ash_786
Guest Spike8585 Posted August 14, 2010 Report Posted August 14, 2010 I am worried about getting jacked flashing this thing around against my head.
