Question About SD Cards, Goldcards & Booting To Recovery

Hi there,

Previously I have used two sd cards on my Desire, one which I made into a goldcard to flash updates & then a main one with an ext partition for day to day use. Now that we are able to boot into recovery without using a PC, would it be possible for me to just use a single SD card to both flash updates & for everyday use?

I assume the obvious answer to the above question if 'yes, of course' but it is my thinking that I would need to wipe my everyday use SD card, recreate it as a goldcard & then partition the rest of it for ext & fat. Is there an easy way to convert my everyday SD card without having to format it again?
