Original touchpal keyboard?

I'm really missing the Touchpal keyboard off the original 1.5 rom. The good thing was it didn't take up the entire screen in landscape, which the new one does - really annoying for instant messaging.

If someone knows where to get it or has the apk could they post a link?

Alternatively, could someone suggest another decent keyboard which DOESN'T take up the entire screen in landscape :)

I really like Smart Keyboard (see android market). It's basically the iPhone one. Not sure if it takes up the entire screen in landscape though, off the top of my head

thing is, default keyboard is good for me, tried HTC and new touchpal, and they're all good in different ways. I just want one that doesn't full screen lan dscape; wonder if its possible to extract the touchpal apk from the old ROM?

I don't think that that's got anything to do with the keyboards, but with the 2.1 ROM instead. All my keyboards take up the entire screen (Android keyboard, TouchPal, HR Keyboard, TouchPal Chinese Input)
