Guest Arcalius Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Hi, I have tried to send a MP3 file to someones phone and I keep getting the error "Media Type Unknown, not sent" or something to that effect. Is anyone else getting this? Is there a work around for it?
Guest mifran Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Hi, I have tried to send a MP3 file to someones phone and I keep getting the error "Media Type Unknown, not sent" or something to that effect. Is anyone else getting this? Is there a work around for it? it works fine if you first find the other phone make both discoverable and pair them then on the hero go to music player select mp3 press menu share blutooth and they then have to accept the file and the transfer just starts mifran
Guest Arcalius Posted June 10, 2010 Report Posted June 10, 2010 Maybe thats where I am going wrong. I had paired the phone with my Hero, but I was using Linda to send the file. I will try again with the music player later. Will that work for files downloaded through Zedge etc too?
Guest arunshen Posted June 13, 2010 Report Posted June 13, 2010 worked for me too, sending an MP3 to my wife's Nokia 6xxx
Guest philos64 Posted June 16, 2010 Report Posted June 16, 2010 I use Bluetooth file transfer, and I'm MCR4 Build3, and when I want to use bluetooth, I have this message: reception service bluetooth OPP threadpool can activate the bluetooth service. Invalid UUID specified ????

Invalid UUID specified ???? Boot into recovery and fix UID mismatches, if that don't do it then re-flash the ROM.
Guest kotsergy Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) Boot into recovery and fix UID mismatches, if that don't do it then re-flash the ROM. Hi I have a similar problem, as described above. Although I haven't tried to fix UID mismatches (how do I do that?), I re-flashed the ROM, but the issue is still present. I don't know if it's of any help, but when I stared the bluetooth app for the first time, it didn't ask me for root permissions. Edited June 24, 2010 by kotsergy
Guest toxic-hero Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 I haven't tried to fix UID mismatches (how do I do that?) go into the recovery image and choose "other" in the menu. than select "fix UID mismatches" option. more
Guest kotsergy Posted June 24, 2010 Report Posted June 24, 2010 (edited) go into the recovery image and choose "other" in the menu. than select "fix UID mismatches" option. more Thanks for the help, I did that. However, Bluetooth File Transfer app (from the market) still shows the same message. But that doesn't matter now, as I have just discovered that ;) the rom has Bluetooth Share app (HTC's), which appears to work just fine sending files :( so, problem solved.
