Hey guys :),

first of all thanks to Paul and all the other people here who are putting so much effort in the Desire and make the root, mods etc. possible, u guys rock!

So here we go, I have rooted my o2 branded HTC Desire successfully with the help of the guide, it actually wasn that hard :). Im using right now the MoDaCo r3.1 with A2SD+ with ne newest radio, tried Fakeflash yesterday too, pretty cool. So far I have everything is working inlcuding A2SD+, but here we come to my questions :).

First is, I read people saying you should use ext2, some people say ext3, I would like to know what is the difference? I know they are two different filesystems but does ext3 really decrease the lifetime of my SD card? Currently im using ext3 and its working fine with my 4gb standard SD card, but Im considering about buying a class 6 card, but I would like to use this card for long :).

The second point is, how can I see how much space of my ext3 partition is left? Is there a tool? I guess I could do it if I use the card in the PC, but is there an android tool which shows how much of your ext2/ext3 partition is left?

The third question, is there a possibilty to reboot the phone instantly with a widget or does a program exist which is capeable of it? Its because it takes so long to press n hold the powerbutton and go on shut down etc. pp. :P.

And last but not least, I have discovered that when I charge my phone through the the power source adapter (long, for example over the night) , the battery status says 90% instead of 100%, is this normal?

Thanks guys

Greets

Rob

For your first question, I'd say stick with ext2 for now.

To find out how much space is on each partition, query the following command in something like terminal emulator:

df

For the battery, check the battery health by dialing *#*#4636#*#*
