Ok, a wee bit of a niggle / snag.

I am currently running MoDaCo 3.1, and decided to give FroYo a try:

1. Made a MCR nandroid backup using fake-flash

2. Flashed defrost 0.7d - no probs

3. Decided that the battery was draining too much in FroYo, decided to go back to MCR.

4. Booted into fake-flash and made a Nandroid of FroYo

5. Re-installed my previous MCR nandroid backup.

6. Booted into MCR ok, realised that I hadn't done a wipe, was unsure if it would cause problems later on, so booted into fake-flash and wiped.

7. Rebooted into MCR and got a constant bootloop after "quietly brilliant"

8. Decided to do a fresh flash of an MCR that I have on my SD card (which includes apps2sd+)

9. The same thing happened again, constant bootloop.

The re-flashed FroYo and that booted ok, and then restored the nandroid of MCR3.1 (as per step 5), and it works ok.

So I am not sure why it was bootlooping when I re-installed the fresh MCR?

I have an 8Gb SD card with a 512Mb ext partition, the rest is FAT32.

Thanks

Stu

Edit, it boots if I take out my SD card.

Ok, it turns out I had to format my ext partition, I thought fake-flash took care of that, or is it that it cannot access ext partitions on SD card?
