That's why it is better to keep your hand on latest news about mobile devices when you are thinking about buying phone.

I hope to see Eclair official ROM in few weeks, Acer user support is poor :/

But I still like my Liquid :)

hehe i have it since it came out in december... gets better everyday, it's been 3 years since a phone lasted so much in my hands... after i had the nokia n82 for 8 months

i knw there are rom leaks and nice custom roms already but im still too scared to upgrade unofficially and dont wana void my warranty in the process..and im also afraid i might mess up my phone.. thanks for the link though.

I was keeping up on mobile news..I thnk 2 months ago motorola milestoneXT wasnt even announced yet.

If you get the LiquidE_1.100.05_EMEA leaked rom and flash with Acer Tools v3.1, it's using everything from Acer. So pretty safe. Just make sure don't disconnect USB cable or lose power during the flashing process. This applies to official Acer ROM upgrades too if/when it's released.

I'm using 1.100.05 since the day one - works better then 1.6 in all ways. At least for me. No more graphical bugs in games, much faster and a way more stable. I've seen many complaints that SMS are slow, but I use emails only - hey, it XXI century!
