Desire wihout 3G

hi everybody .. i just got HTC Desire for my wife and we have this phone for 2 days now .The phone don't read 3G and when i checked the network info the phone read EDGE and when i checked my nexus at same time i seen the network UMTS . so what i can do make this desire read T-Mobile US 3G

Indeed a good idea.

Otherwise, try to look up T-Mobile's APN settings and add/edit them to :

Settings -> Wireless Networks -> Mobile networks -> Access point names

Either Desire A8181 or A8183 does not support US T-mobile 3G, as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong.

Unfortunately Yeah . does not support US T-Mobile 3G , and this is very sucks . but the phone is awesome . thanks guys for the answers :)
