2,copy "dload" file to SD Card

3,Switch off the hanset ,then press "Volume Control Upper Key +End Key+ Power Key"

4:Showing successful,remove battery one second ,then power on ,waiting till the os start up

5,From www.huaweidevice.com, software block ,download the original 1.5ROM which you used,

6,Repeat the step 2 to step 4

Hi there to everyone, I need your help: :(

My U8230 failed an upgrade to 2.1 and it's completely frozen.

I followed your instructions:

1,Download the attach file ,extract it.

2,copy "dload" file to SD Card

3,Switch off the hanset ,then press "Volume Control Upper Key +End Key+ Power Key"

But instead of getting a success message as expected

I get the following error in a log file in the SD card

Failure: MD5_RSA verify failure.

Failure: operation did not succeed.

Failure: operation did not succeed.

Failure: operation did not succeed.

Failure: operation did not succeed.

Failure: operation did not succeed.

dload_sd_ram_data_proc->(retry >= DLOAD_RETRY) failed!

Can u Guys help me out ;)

It sounds like your download got corrupted. Try downloading again, and if that fails I'll hunt around for a working MD5 for us to compare.

I downloaded the File from the link above and from the Hauwei site.

The MD5 checksum i have for the zip file is:

1FB6272D7A9C4DC586391E2F083C2B6D

The file seems ok, I'm using a Fat32 formated microSD Card
