Guest bindi Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 http://www.huaweidevice.com/community/thre...&orderStr=9 :) So if they give a time period, add another 2 months and then begin searching european t-mobile websites for an update...Then we will have 2.2. Positive side is atleast we have 2.1...
Guest thealexweb Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 To little to late, I'm moving to a HTC Hero.
Guest BigBearMDC Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 (edited) To little to late, I'm moving to a HTC Hero. I'd love to get a Desire or N1, but I just haven't got the money :) And of course I just can't leave all you Pulse owners alone :) Edited June 11, 2010 by BigBearMDC
Guest jmmL Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 I'd love to get a Desire or N1, but I just haven't got the money :) And of course I just can't leave all you Pulse owners alone :) There are a few £25 per months deals (with "free" desire) here in the UK. Considering that I'm currently spending £15 a month on my pulse, I'm trying to justify an upgrade to myself (and my bank account). Had a go with the Desire, and I just love the "instant"-ness with which everything is done - you don't have to wait a few seconds just for handcent to open. Plus, O2 has terrible 3G reception at my university residence, which kind of cripples the phone whilst I'm here.

Yeah I bought my Pulse back in december last year, with a two years contract and 20€ / month. I paid 100€ for the Pulse! And now, a few months later, they're selling the Desire ... for 130€ ... :) I really like the Pulse ... but it is SLOW Look at the iPod Touch 2G. It's processor runs at 600 MHz, and it's incredibly fast! Even very good looking graphics are absolutely no problem. And it has only 128 MB RAM! I own an iPod Touch 2G but I'm not the biggest fan of Apple. But if they made something right its without any doubt the iPhone OS. Edited June 11, 2010 by BigBearMDC

If I could afford a better phone I| would probably upgrade too, as much as this phone is great, most of what makes it so good is modifications that have nothing to do with T-mobile or Huwaei or however its spelt, its mostly the hard work of people on here. I agree with what your saying though about it, the phone is greater spec than an Iphone so why doesn't it run like a god?
Guest andy-andy Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 but the N1 and desire's 3G reception is quite bad isn't it? might be better to get the new droid?
Guest tgomas Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Im happy with mine on my £7.50 contract, my biggest fear is the usb port breaking.
Guest rss2k Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 Got mine under a 1 year contract, for me as a cheap step towards Android coming from WM. Next phone will probably be the Samsung Galaxy S but who knows, I have 6 months to go. Nexus one and HTC Desire were first on top of my list, but since HTC is making rooting and own brewed ROM's so difficult on the Desire it has fallen off. Nexus One still a favourite because it'll get updates quickest. I wonder if Google will come with a successor and if they will deliver them to the Netherlands. Vodafone will start this week supplying the Nexus One, the rest have been grey imports overhere.
Guest zerosignull Posted June 11, 2010 Report Posted June 11, 2010 To little to late, I'm moving to a HTC Hero. You do realise in the grand scheme of things we got our update to 2.1 from the original ROM allot faster then the HTC Hero users? HW is getting slack but compared to allot of other carriers they are not doing to bad with OS updates.
