So i ponied up the cash, got one or £350 on eBay and am just playing with it at the moment, Now this might seem like a stupid question and i apologise but....How can i sync my music from itunes (or drag and drop if necessary?) to the streak?

Usually there's a DCIM folder with music to slide it into but it only appears to hold pictures so far...

Any ideas guys?

Hi,

I recommend you use doubleTwist, it's free and it will read your iTunes library. Similar interface to iTunes too. The only thing I would say, is that it will only allow you to sync DRM-free music. So if you bought anything from iTunes Store before they introduced DRM free music, then it won't sync.

Cheers.

Hey Droid thanks for that i'll take a look. Incidentally if your create a folder called "music" in the DCIM folder it also transfers over.

Hi streak dan,

On looking on the Double twist forum i wasn't sure if it worked on the Streak from a couple of posts i saw in the Forum there also i don't like installing duplicate apps unless necessary so didn't want another Music Player on my device either i had read about iSyncR so tried the free Lite version first to see how it worked. Having tried it and liked how it performed i then went ahead and bought the full version for $2.99 and it does what it should and is nice and easy to use it will also sync to your Streak more than just Music to.

Hey Dogmann, eventually i went for the easy option, found exactly where the music needed to be and simply dragged the required playlists from iTunes to that folder. 5gb of music transfered via USB in 19 minutes. Job done!

Hi streak dan,

Well glad it worked for you but when i tried that it didn't work for me as my Albums wouldn't play don't know why but they are encoded @256kbps AAC and when i then used the inbuilt conversion it changed them all to low quality WMA's that's when i decided to try and then but iSyncR.
