Orange UK Users - Please downgrade your ROM version to 2.73.61.5

Hi,

I am a newbie and trying to follow this for the 1st time, I got a HTC Hero in Dec 2009 and have the version as 2.73.61.5 146733,

Question is do I still need to downgrade this as I seem to have the same version already?

If 'Backup Recovery' fails in flashrec then you need to downgrade.

Thanks I moved to MCR3.2 and did not need to downgrade, I am thinking of adding a 2.1 custom ROM now:-)
