Can i root Build 1.21.405.2, Hboot 0.80

I got an unbranded and unlocked desire that i purchased from handtec.co.uk

It is running Build 1.21.405.2 with an Hboot of 0.80. Is it possible for me to root the phone? i would like to install the froyo rom over frm xda-developers.
