Desire ROM change

Hi everyone.

I recently bought Desire from Singapore and I am absolutely new to android. It has ROM 1.19.707.6 WWE Asia. Now the problem is that it does not have UK English as a language option.

Please someone guide me on how to change my ROM to the one I want. I have tried using the .exe files from here, but whenever I run any of these exes I get error 131 saying updating not possible.

Please help me out :) :)

If 131 is cid error then make a goldcard www.roothtchero.co.uk/goldcard-2 (works for desire too) and you will be able to flash.

can you please elaborate just a little bit more. I am absolutely new to all this. Sorry for being asking such a simple question.

Your device has CustomID set, so you have to reset it in order to be able to apply any ROM found on this forum. To do that, you will need one (preferably empty) microSD card and this guide: http://android.modaco.com/content/general-...ing-a-goldcard/

Having goldcard made, I have another question, though... how to deal with "140: BOOTLOADER ERROR" problem when trying to restore stock ROM ?
