This is my 2nd ROM, it is based on Froyo FRF50 and contains:

- ADW- Launcher 0.8.5

- Launcher Pro 0.6.0

- Black Bar ( like kang-o-rama , not desire black bar)

- Modifyed Hosts file for built-in Ad-Blocking

- /system/app & framework De-odexed

- Su and busybox from cyanogen

- Pershoot Kernel 2.6.34 OC/UV/21MB/XTRA) //

- Included TrackBall Alert and fully working!

- Updated Flash Player to beta 3

- Updated SetCpu to 1.6.0

- Added Battery Notify // IT says to you the battery percent

- Removed Autokiller, it is useless

- Custom Bootanimation

- Quick Boot Removed // Its Functions are included in modded spare parts

- Removed PDF Viewer // It crashes

- Modded Spare Parts

- Updated lib/hw/lights.mahimahi.so for better trackball colors support (from chaindd)

- Browser Icon changed to Chrome Icon

Prerequisites:

- Radio Froyo 32.36.00.28U_4.06.00.12_7_PASSION

Installation Guide:

0. Enter in recovery

1. Flash Froyo Radio, if you don't have it yer

2. Do a NAND Backup

3. Wipe all Options

4. Flash ROM

5. Reboot

== HowTo ==

Move Apps to SD card:

Open Spare Parts , click on App2sd and select:

- SDcard (/sdcard )

- Internal ( data/app )

- Auto

This will also have effect on installations from the Market.

To move apps from phone-to-sdcard/sdcard-to-phone, goto Settings/Applications/Manage, select an app and click "Move" button.

Important: Do not put keyboards, launchers, widgets or root apps on the sdcard!

Mount /System Rw or RO

Open Spare Parts, click on Remount System and choose:

- RO

- RW

Change BootAnimation:

Open Spare Parts and click on BootAnimation:

You can choose Normal BootAnimation or AndroidLab bootanimation!

Change Status Bar Color:

Open Spare Parts and click on StatusBar Color,

Choose BlackBar or WhiteBar ( Vending Process might crash - just ignore it))

Reboot Required!

Use MYLock ( TrackBall Wake Replacement)

Open Mylock:

Click on Auto-Unlock , select Advanced and Enable MyLock.

Double-Click on all touch-button to unlock the NeXus!

This ROM sounds great, but I feel suspicious because you mention Trackball Colors support by ChainsDD, but I haven't heard anything from ChainsDD about this.

Does this mean that Trackball Alert Pro will work natively with your ROM ? And if yes, then why isn't anyone commenting this great news ?

I think leaving out Task Style managers is always a good move. Google Dev Blog'd about the Android Proccess Handler, its very clever and doesnt need any interaction from the user to kill apps.

Apart from that Looks good.

Keep up the good work.

Um, the quote you linked to is from ChainDD's ECLAIR release. This is a FROYO release. If it was that easy to make the trackball colors work in Froyo, Paul would have added it to his Rom.
